Kellie Martin, an American actor and actress on television and film. She is popular for her role as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series 'Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". She is also known as the star of the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin is the daughter of a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt, who was a nanny to Michael Landon's kids helped Martin land a role in 1983's show "Father Murphy". Her professional career began when she graduated from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of parts in both the television as well as the film industry. Martin was also an artist and photographer. Her sister, who died from Lupus at age 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
